A man suspected in the killing of one teenager and the abduction of another has fled into the bush in an area southeast of Flin Flon, Man., according to RCMP.

Police were called to 17-year-old Kayla Natomagan's house on the Lac La Ronge First Nation early Wednesday morning after a shooting had taken place. When officers arrived, they found a man dead. Natomagan was already gone.

Motion passed on Monday calls for inquiry into missing and murdered indigenous women

The City of Regina is now joining the call for an inquiry into missing and murdered indigenous women.
 
Council passed a motion to send a letter to the federal government Monday night.
 
Regina joins other Saskatchewan cities like Saskatoon, North Battleford and Prince Albert, along with Premier Brad Wall and the premiers of Ontario, Manitoba and Nova Scotia in calling for an inquiry.

Saskatoon police want the public's help to find a missing woman.

Heather Friesen, 24, was last seen at the Safeway at the corner of 33rd Street West and Avenue C North around 10 a.m. Feb. 17.

Friesen requires medication and police worry she may not have had access to it since she went missing.

She's described as Aboriginal, five feet six inches, 170 pounds with black shoulder-length hair, and brown eyes.

Sitting at the same desk where she got the tragic news, Myrna LaPlante shuffled through all the information she has about the weeks that surrounded her aunt going missing.

"In 2007, September, I'm sitting in this office here and I get a call that our aunt is missing from her home," Myrna said. "My response was, 'What do you mean she's missing?'"

An 11-year-old boy from Regina, who was reported missing on Friday morning, has been found.
 
Robert Hunter Randall Yuzicapi was last seen last seen at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday at a house on the 1400 block of Queen Street.

Police say Yuzicapi returned home Friday evening.

Leaders of national First Nations, Inuit and Metis organizations, representatives of affected families and officials from provincial, territorial and federal governments gathered Friday for a roundtable on the issue of missing and murdered indigenous women and girls.

12-year-old Yorkton boy missing

The RCMP are trying to find a boy who went missing Monday night.
 
Cyrus Campeau, 12, was last seen on Smith Street East in Yorkton yesterday evening at the Child and Family Services office.
 
According to police, he's about five foot eight and 150 lbs. He was wearing a black Chicago Bulls hat, black jeans, and grey runnning shoes.
 
Anyone who's seen Campeau, or knows where he is, is asked to call Yorkton RCMP at 306-786-2400.

Missing teen last seen in Fort Qu'Appelle found

Fort Qu'Appelle RCMP have tracked down a missing teenager.

J'Lynne Keepness, 14, had last been seen Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. in Fort Qu'Appelle. She was not believed to be in danger but because of her age, police wanted to know where she was.

Police found Keepness Tuesday evening.

J'Lynn Irene Acrossthemountain has been reported missing and the Regina Police Service is hoping you might have seen her.

The 15-year-old aboriginal girl was last seen Feb. 18.

She is about 5-foot-6 and weighs about 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing a beige bunnyhug, blue jeans and a white t-shirt.

RCMP are searching for two 15-year-old girls who went missing on March 6.
 
Tashaynna Hotomani and Cynamyn Strongarm were last seen in Punnichy, SK and police believe the two girls are now in the Regina area.
 
Hotomani is 5'1" and weigh 107lbs. She has shoulder length dyed blond hair. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, white and black gym pants and white/black Adidas runners.
 
Police say Strongarm is 5'6",180 lbs and has long dark brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black coat, blue jeans and colourful shoes.

The RCMP are searching for two teens from the Fort Qu'Appelle area who they believe went missing together.
 
Cristina Rodriguez, 14, of Fort Qu'Appelle was reported missing Thursday. She was last seen wearing a black winter coat, jeans, and black runners. She had dyed pink hair that is shaved on one side.
 
Vincent Tuckaro, 14, of the Okanese First Nation was reported missing Friday but he was last seen on Wednesday in Balcarres.
 
Police say the two know each other and they believe the teens are together.

RCMP are asking for the public's help in locating a missing 13-year-old Reshaun Cote.
 
Cote went missing from Balgonie on Friday and has not been seen since. He may be in the Regina area and also has ties in Fort Qu'Appelle

He is described as aboriginal, five-foot-five with a medium build, 120 pounds, brown eyes and short, dark brown hair.

Police ask for help to find 14-year-old Isaiah Maxie

The Regina Police Service is looking for a 14-year-old boy who's been missing since Sunday.
 
Isaiah Maxie was last seen Sunday night between 8:50 p.m. and 10:45 p.m.
 
Police said there's no evidence Maxie has been hurt, but they want to find him because he's only 14.
 
Maxie is described as 5'10", 120 lbs, with medium-length dark, straight hair. He was last seen wearing jeans, a grey shirt, a black hoodie, and black sneakers.

A missing 12-year-old boy from Regina has been found.
 
Braiden Raine McKay was last seen leaving his home on the 900 block of Royal Street on Thursday at 8:00 a.m.
 
Police say McKay was located shortly before noon on Saturday and is now at home safe.

57-year-old Melita Benko hadn't been seen since Friday

RCMP in Yorkton have found a woman who had been missing for several days.

Melita Benko, 57, was last seen leaving her farm west of Willowbrook on Friday around 7:30 p.m. Her family hadn't seen or heard from her.

By Wednesday morning, Mounties said Benko had been found safe and sound.

RCMP are reaching out to people in Regina to keep an eye out for a missing teenage girl who they believe could be in the Queen City.

Haleigh Rowe, 17, left her home in Winnipegosis, Manitoba on Feb. 22. RCMP said she left to go out with friends, but there's no indication that she met up with them. She didn't return home.

Police believe that Rowe might have left the province with a man. On Friday, RCMP released an update saying there was evidence to suggest that the girl might be in Regina.

Missing woman found in muddy, wooded area of Lumsden

A woman missing in the Lumsden area has been found not long after she was reported missing.

Florence Fink was found by a search volunteer riding an ATV. She was in a wooded area with mud. The 77-year-old was taken to hospital as a precaution.

Prior to being found, she was last seen at around 11 a.m. Tuesday. Her family said she had health issues. 

She was last seen at a home on James Bay in Lumsden.

Katherine Sparvier hasn't been seen in nearly a week

RCMP in Yorkton are looking for help to find a young woman who hasn't been seen for nearly a week.

Katherine Sparvier, 21, was last seen at her house in Yorkton on the night of Friday, March 27.

Mounties haven't released any information on where they think Sparvier might be. They ask anyone with information on her to contact the Yorkton Municipal Detachment at 306-446-1720 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Missing man found dead in Kamsack

RCMP say he left party drunk Thursday morning

A young man from Kamsack who went missing has now been found dead.

Norris Durocher, 19, left a party on Park Street early Thursday morning and he was reportedly intoxicated.

RCMP found his body Friday morning but haven't said where. There's also no information about how he died.

Kamsack RCMP along with the Yorkton Forensic Identification Section and Regina Major Crimes Section are now investigating.
